90% of marketers now cite SEO as a top marketing channel

As marketers look to 2023, new research indicates that search engine optimization (SEO) will become a key investment area, having delivered positive results so far in 2022.

Growthbar recently released the results of its “State of Content Marketing and SEO in 2022” survey, and the data suggests that 90% of marketers now rate SEO as one of their top three when it comes to marketing channels. Specifically, 91% of B2B marketers also cited SEO as one of the top three digital marketing channels.

Looking ahead to 2023, around 72% of respondents said they expect SEO to become more impactful. Additionally, B2B marketers said they believe SEO will have more impact in 2023 than in 2022. As a result, 47% of respondents said they intend to invest more in SEO next year than they have in the past 12 months.

Finding B2B Marketing Success with Social Media

While SEO continues to provide a positive ROI for B2B marketers, previous research suggests that social media also delivers significant results, especially in terms of revenue.

Wpromote has released its “2022 State of B2B Digital Marketing” report, and statistics indicate that in terms of revenue generation, the majority of B2B marketers (50%) say social media is their most popular digital marketing channel. more efficient.
